The Kymin

The Kymin, Monmouth, NP25 3SE.

Signposted on right off A4133 Monmouth to Staunton, a mile or two from Wye bridge. The buildings can be reached by a winding path through woods from the small car park.

A high hill above the river Wye, with Picturesque landscaping and spectacular views. The Round House or Belvedere was erected in 1794 by the Monmouth Picnic Club. This is scheduled to open to the public in summer 2001. Nearby is the Naval Temple, built in 1800 to celebrate the glories of the British Navy.

Bryn uchel uwchlaw afon Wysg, wedi ei dirlunio’n hardd ac â golygfeydd godidog. Codwyd y Tŷ Crwn neu’r belfedir ym 1794 gan Glwb Picnic Trefynwy. Bwriedir ei hagor i’r cyhoedd yn Haf 2001. Gerllaw, mae’r Deml Forwrol a adeiladwyd ym 1800 i ddathlu gorchestion y Llynges Brydeinig.
