A rare surviving Welsh gentry estate with a late 18th century villa by John Nash. An extensive range of 19th century farm and horticultural buildings: potting shed, frameyard, farmyard, rickyard, threshing barn, granary, stableyard and cowshed etc. Two extensive walled gardens, cultivated by volunteers, show the evolution of garden technology from the early 19th century to the present day. Parkland with many permissive paths. The estate is undergoing restoration and access to certain areas may be restricted. In 2006 footpaths around the lake
